The Scalp BAE by Alan Truman is an innovative scalp massage brush built for a healthy scalp-care routine. It’s the only of its kind dry scalp massage brush.
By dry scalp massage we mean, the brush has to be and can be used without any shampoo, serum, oil etc. Although it can be used with scalp products too, it IS NOT a shampoo brush to be used under the shower to foam and lather shampoo.
The parallel of this brush and dry scalp care routine is dry body brushing. As dry body brushing helps get rid of cellulite and improves overall skin health, the SCALP BAE improves scalp health. It helps maintain a squeaky clean scalp with healthy and resilient hair, hair growth and maintenance.
HOW IT WORKS?
DRY USE BEFORE SHAMPOO
Lift horizontal, flat, sections of hair & massage your scalp in slow circular motions. You will feel increased warmth & natural oils being secreted by your scalp. After you are done with the full-head massage, wait for 5 mins to let your scalp settle down to its normal temperature. Shampoo as usual.
We do not recommend wet use due to the fine, long and highly flexible bristles of the brush. However, if it works well for your hair type and shampoo routine, you are free to use it under the shower. The brush is water resistant. Please do not try to remove the bristles cap or clean it with harsh movements or pressure which may permanently damage the brush.
FOR USE WITH OIL OR OTHER SCALP PRODUCTS
Drip oil or any other scalp focussed products directly on your scalp with a glass pipette or apply directly to the scalp with your finger tips.
Lift horizontal, flat, sections of hair & massage your scalp in slow circular motions. Do not apply excess pressure. Also do not use aggressive motions which may cause irritations on the scalp skin.
You will feel increased warmth & natural oils being secreted by your scalp. It is absolutely normal.

Who is it for?
Anyone with hair on their head, men or women, who understand that a healthy scalp leads to a healthy head of hair.
- Individuals with excessive scalp sebum and oily scalp problems who desire a squeaky clean scalp.
- When you need to massage scalp care products or scalp cleansing products to increase their efficacy.
- When you have excessive scalp buildup due to product residue, travel, change of water, dirt, dust & grime.
What's special about the Scalp BAE Brush?
THE bristles!
The magic of this brush is in the bristles.
They are amazingly long, yet firm. They are flexible but last long and take multiple massage tasks and cycles over a period of time.
We worked to develop a special nylon compound for these bristles.
The idea was to keep the bristles thin enough to reach and massage your scalp, and firm enough to not bend and break.
Now if we made them thick, they would not be great for scalp clean up and massages as your hair wouldn’t allow them to do job easily. If we made them thin, they would not last. They would bend, break and just not do what they are supposed to do.
We needed the bristles to be firm, super firm, but not hard and stiff at the same time because they would hurt your scalp.
