What is it actually?
It is a trimmer which chops off split-ends and fly away hair which could potentially become split ends. It doesn’t affect the hair length as it only captures the split-ends during the cutting process.

What it is not.
It is not a hair straightener nor a hair trimmer. It doesn’t trim your hair length. It beautifully trims off the split ends and excessive flyaway.

Can I use on all hair types?
The trimmer is made to work on straight or slightly wavy hair. Results may vary in curly or very curly hair.

Does it reduce my hair length?
No. It just trims off a few millimeters of split-ends and fly-away hair.

Functionality:

This is a chargeable device and can be charged with any compatible charger. A charge of 3 hours allows a run-time of approximate 2-2.5 hours under normal conditions. Overcharging the device will reduce the life of the battery and hence affect the overall device.
Red light indicates an empty battery and a green light indicates a full charge.
A flashing light will indicate that the battery is down to 10% and a need to recharge the device.
The device has a cutting roller which moves in either direction. There are two arrow buttons to indicate the direction.
Remember to always move the trimmer towards the floor and not the away from it. The two-direction function is provided for ease and convenience of use with right or left hand on either side of the hair.

For best results:
This device works like a hair trimmer and hence it needs hair to be clean and in a natural state to cut off the split ends properly. Natural hair oils make hair stick to each other thus not allowing the device to capture and cut off the split-ends and fly-away hair.

How to use:

The lower arm holds the cutting mechanism and the hair collection chamber. The upper arm has the power and direction control switches.
Remember the device has to be always held such that the arm with the cutting mechanism is always below the hair section. Do not use it in an inverted position with the cutting mechanism above the hair section.
The device is powered on and off with the help of a power switch. The switch also acts as a direction changer for the cutting mechanism.
Switch on the device by pressing the power switch once. The cutting mechanism gets activated by an automated sensor on when the arms are brought together.
The cutting mechanism automatically glides your hair up or down as indicated by the arrow lights.
Always remember that you have to move the device in parallel to the floor and towards the floor and not in any other way. Any odd experimentation will block your hair in the cutting mechanism and damage your hair and the device too.
Now after understanding the working of the device, you can start using it on your hair.
Take a medium flat section of hair and place it above the cutting mechanism like your place a hair section in between straightener plates.
Glide the section in the same speed as the cutting mechanism keeps pushing it. Don’t force high speed. Also, do not attempt to keep the device at one spot on the hair section.
Treat each section of the hair 2-3 times for excessive split-ends and 1-2 times for moderate split-ends.
Split-ends are collected in the chamber at the bottom of the cutting mechanism. Clean the chamber only after you are done with the trimming session.
Cleaning and maintenance:
This device has a hair collection chamber which collects all the split ends. You need to ideally offload and clean the chamber after every use to avoid clogging of cutting mechanism/blade.
The following steps have to be followed for the same:
You DO NOT have to wash or clean the cutting mechanism of the device. You have to ONLY empty the split ends from the chamber that collects them.
Switch off the device and do not keep it connect it to power or charging source.
Use one thumb gently press the end of the translucent hair chamber where it is locked into the body of the device and slide it off gently from the body.
Dump off all the hair on a sheet of paper or countertop
Using the cleaning brush, dust off the hair particles from the cutting mechanism and housing. The bristles of the cleaning brush can get stuck in the cutting mechanism and reduce the blade life. Hence please be gentle during the process.
The hair chamber can be washed under water. Do not attempt to wash the cutting mechanism or any other part of the device.
The chamber has to be wiped clean and dried before fitting it back on the body of the device.
Do not use any serum, liquid, detergent or anything except a bit of dampness (with water) to remove the residue or product deposits from the rods.
Any physical damages caused intentionally or unintentionally are not covered in warranty. Hence take all precautions during cleaning and storage.
When using this electrical device, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Do not use while bathing or under a shower.
Do not place or store device where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
Always unplug this device from the electrical outlet immediately after full-charge.
